Hyderabad: The ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh is bending rules to suit its party cadre, YSRCP's senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said.

Addressing the media at the party office here on Friday, he said a case in point in this regard is the court ruling on the much-hyped Swiss Challenge model for the construction of the new capital - Amaravati. "Rules have been changed immediately to suit the TDP after the court ruling," he said.

Botsa alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is mortgaging state's interests for the sake of foreign companies. "Those who spent money during the elections are now being repaid in kind," he added. He alleged that all the departments in theTDP regime are mired in corruption and questioned the party's moral right to govern. "Even a single house was not built in the state during the past two-and-a-half years of TDP rule and ministers did not even visit the rain-affected areas," the YSRCP leader said.

Botsa also slammed the conduct of Chandrababu Naidu's son, Nara Lokesh. The latter is acting as an extra-constitutional authority, Botsa said while citing the instance of home minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa standing with folded hands before Lokesh.
