TDP, TRS spar over power crisis

The power issues rocked the Telangana legislative Assembly on Monday pushing both the ruling and opposition parties into leveling allegations against each other.

While the ruling party members blamed TDP for power crisis in Telangana, opposition members from the TDP hit back at KCR for his incapability to get power.
Addressing the house, KCR said that they are ready to approach the courts to protect the interest of the Telangana people.
Telangana's share of power is blocked by Chandrababu, who ignored the orders of several boards and organisations. KCR further blamed the TDP government for blocking the due share of 980 megawatts power to the Telangana state.
"AP government is violating all the rules. The two states can develop and prosper with mutual cooperation. Disruption at Simhadri Power Station too is causing problem," KCR said and added that he even wrote a letter to the Centre on the power issues.
While the Telangana CM tried to put the blame on Chandrababu, the TDP in return leveled choicest remarks against KCR refereeing the farmer's suicides.
