TDP, Congress clash

Election campaigning in Ranga Reddy district led to some tense movements on Friday. The incident took place at Manchala mandal in Ibrahimpatnam constituency.

Trouble arose when Congress activists pelted stones on TDP candidate Kishan Reddy while he was addressing an election meeting. The TDP activists retaliated leading to fisticuffs and stone-pelting. Some political activists suffered injuries and four cars were damaged.

Police officials have set up a picket in the village and now the situation is under control.
