Tamil Nadu New CM Panneerselvam Moves Around Without Convoy 

Chennai: The new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu O. Panneerselvam who took charge after his mentor's death on Tuesday midnight came out in a single car much to the shock of public and political circles on Wednesday.

Sans an official convoy or any such security cover, Panneerselvam visited the house of veteran journalist-actor Cho Ramaswamy who passed away this morning, within two days after Jayalalithaa's demise. A versatile personality, Cho was a close confidante of Jayalalithaa all his life.

People and even the police on duty at the spot were stunned as the CM emerged out of a simple looking Innova car which he has been using as a finance minister and walked up to body of the veteran political analyst. He paid tributes to the departed soul, consoled the family and walked back to get into his car just like an ordinary man. OPS was still in a deep grief.
