Tamil Nadu Ends Strike, Makes Way For Bharat Ane Nenu Release  

Good news for the fans of Mahesh Babu who were anxious about the release of his latest flick can heave a sigh of relief as the Tamil fim industry has decided to call off the strike which had cast a shadow of uncertainty over the release of Bharat Ane Nenu. Looks like Mahesh is lucky as Tamil Nadu Strike has ended and made way for the smooth release of his film Bharat Ane Nenu which is all set to hit theatres this Friday.

It may be recalled that the Tamil Film Producers' Council were on a strike since March 1. They were protesting asgainst DSPs charging Virtual Print Fee (VPF) from producers. The Tamil film industry not only banned released of new movies in theatres but also halted shooting of films. Now, after 48 days of strike, the TPFC has come to a consensus with the stakeholders to ensure transparency with respect to box office collections, computerised ticketing, flexi ticket pricing and reducing the online booking charges. It is also learned that the DSPs have agreed to reduce the VPF rates.

With this, Bharat Ane Nenu is all set to release in Tamil Nadu.

It's worth mentioning here that after a week's run, Ram Charan's Rangasthalam had been pulled off due to the same strike. The Telugu audience in Tamil Nadu were hoping that Bharat Ane Nenu won't meet the same fate for this is one of the biggest releases of Mahesh babu after two of his earlier films bombed at the box office.

This is the second time Mahesh Babu has collaborated with Koratala Siva. Their previous association Srimanthudu did fantastic business at the box office.
