It appears senior TDP leader and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is all set to desert TDP and latch on to the TRS bandwagon.

Of late, he is not active in party activities. This led to the speculations that he would leave the party. He expected the post of floor leader of the party in Telangana assembly. But, the party gave the post to some other leader. A dissatisfied Yadav has been keeping a low profile ever since.

Though he is the present of the Greater Hyderabad party unit, he gave a miss to the party meet on Saturday. All the leaders of 24 assembly constituencies, party MLAs and MPs attended the meeting. The meet was held to devise a strategy for the coming GHMC elections. His absence from such a key meeting, the speculations are rife that he would leave the party.

The propaganda is such that he is moving away from party only to join TRS. He is reportedly waiting for the right time to leave TDP and join TRS.

However, some leaders, who know the mindset of Talasani, are presenting a different version. They are saying that Talasani is absent for such meetings only to express his dissatisfaction over the party leadership on some issue. They are saying that Talasani had also behaved in the same way in the past but had continued to remain in the party.
