T-employee JAC threatens stir

Even as the State Government is making every effort to prevail upon the Telangana JAC into  postponing the proposed march scheduled for Sunday, the Telangana Employee JAC on Friday warned the Government of a revolt if permission is not accorded to the march.

Talking to media persons here, the Employee JAC leaders warned the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government that if it did not stop harassing the Telangana employees immediately, they would be forced to tread the path of revolt.

Going a step further, the leaders even threatened to resort to an indefinite agitation from Monday if immediate measures are not initiated to stop harassment of the Telangana employees. Making it clear that there was no proposal whatsoever from the Government's side to change the march venue from the Tank Bund and the Necklace Road, they said resorting to bind-over of the employees is certainly uncalled for on the part of the administration. They, however, remained silent when asked whether they are prepared to shift the venue in the event of such proposal coming forth from the Government.
