SVU students agitate against extra college fees in Tirupati

Tirupathi, Sri Venkateshwara University students on Saturday protested against demanding of extra college fees in Tirupathi.

Students alleged that the Arts college principal was harassing them to pay extra fee for the attendance shortage.

"We were not able to attend classes due to 'Samaikyandhra' agitation. We requested him and told him that this decision will affect poor students' careers, but he didn't concede," said one of the students.

They also demanded the cancellation fee, and urged authorities to issue hall tickets to all.
