Suspension of two constables revoked

The Telangana government has revoked the suspension of two constables, who raised pro-Telangana slogans at the meeting of APNGOs in Hyderabad last year.

As per the orders issued on Friday, both the constables, identified as Srinivasa Goud and Srisailam Mudiraj, were given postings in the state secretariat.

The APNGOs organized a large public meeting at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad protesting against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh on September 7. Two Telangana constables, who were on duty there, raised the slogans ‘Jai Telangana’ at the meeting. The government had suspended both the constables.

After K.Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana, he decided to revoke the suspension of the two constables.
