Suspected SIMI man robs businessman in Nandigama

Nandigama: The incident of an unidentified miscreant robbing a businessman at gun point is creating a sensation in Nandigama region.

A Hyderabad-based businessman Suresh Kumar  was travelling in the car (AP31 Q 3438) from Vijayawada to Hyderabad in early hours of Monday. On his way, accused requested for a lift in Gollapudi till Kodad.
Convinced by the accused story, Suresh gave him lift only to be robbed. Once the car reached the remote area in Hanumanthapalem of Nandigama, the accused flashed his gun and demanded for the money. He robbed Suresh Kumar of three gold rings, one chain and cash. That man with the gun took a photo of Suresh in his phone and warned him not to approach police. But Suresh soon after recovering from shock complained to Nandigama DSP Radesh Murali.
Police suspect the robber to be SIMI terrorist based on recent events in neighbouring state Telangana. More details are awaited
