Survey, Chiru assume charge as MoS

Union Minister of State for Surface Transport and National Highways Survey Satyanarayana and Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent) Chiranjeevi assumed charge of their respective ministries in New Delhi today.

Amid chanting of Vedic hymns, both the ministers entered their chambers in the presence of their family members and a large number of their supporters.
In his capacity as the Union Minister, Chiranjeevi cleared the file releasing funds for the Kakatiya Celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, he said he would strive hard to attract maximum number of foreign tourists to the historic monuments in the country. Chiranjeevi also promised to sincerely discharge his duties and said he would initiate measures for further strengthening the Tourism wing.
