Hyderabad: Sensuous actress Sunny Leone is making waves in the South nowadays. The actress who performed a dance number in Current Theega and latest film PSV Garuda Vega, for the first time will play a lead actress in a multi-lingual movie.

Sunny will be making her debut as a lead actress in South with Veera Mahadevi, wherein she plays a warrior. A publicist identified himself as Vamsi Kaka for the movie confirmed the news on his Twitter handle. His tweet reads, “Hey folks... The wait is over...Much awaited @SunnyLeone Telugu film titled as #Veeramahadevi Historical magnum opus. She is here to rule...We are excited indeed. @vcvadivudaiyan #SunnyLeoneInsouth #SunnyLeoneinTelugu".

The movie is a multi-lingual which will release in Tamil, Hindi apart from Telugu. The actress who couldn’t stop gushing over the project says that she is excited to be part of the period film. It is learnt that Sunny will undergo training in horse-riding and martial arts to equip herself for the role.

Sunny first forayed into cinema with Hindi film Jism 2 and went on to act in many films also starring next to bigwigs. Well, this hottie is certainly expanding her horizons
