Students Thrashed Mercilessly In Narayana Hostel 

YSR Kadapa: Students of senior intermediate in Narayana hostel sustained grievous injuries after they were thrashed mercilessly by District General Manager (DGM) in CK Dinne.

The incident took place in Narayana hostel on Friday and came to light only on Sunday when one of the students informed his parents, who inturn lodged a police complaint. One of the students, Trinethra, suffered a broken bone due to the thrashing. The students said that the DGM used a cane to beat them following a complaint by junior intermediate students. "He did not bother to investigate what was the complaint about nor listen to our side of the issue," the injured students said. The hostel staff did not provide any first-aid to the students, some of whom managed to reach a private hospital and got treated for their injuries.

Officials of Narayana college were not forthcoming to comment on the issue.
