Students' rally turns violent in Osmania University

Osmania University once again witnessed unruly scenes on Wednesday when the students took out a bike rally seeking permission for ‘Chalo Assembly’ proposed on June 14 by Telangana JAC.

Police prevented the students at NCC Gate. In turn, the students pelted stones at the police. Tension prevailed till the evening as police fired three rounds of tear gas escalating the conflict further. Police stepped up security on the university premises to prevent untoward incidents.
