Students Protest Against Lecturers’ Indecent Proposals At Brilliant College 

Hyderabad: Hundreds of students from all branches at Brilliant Engineering College at Abdullapurmet on the city outskirts on Monday staged a dharna in protest against the 'indecent proposals' by lecturers to girl students.

Students alleged that lecturers are behaving in an indecent manner with girls - making lewd remarks and demanding other gratification it return for good marks in internals. They said the college management has failed to action against the erring lecturers despite their repeated complaints.

Instead, the principal is also behaving rudely with students who complained of lecturers' indecent proposals and creating problems in the payment of scholarships, students claimed.

Students complained that some lecturers were directly asking them for sexual favors and victimizing them as they reject their proposals.

Tension prevailed at the college as the students were growing impatient as there was no response from the management for two hours.
