Students en route to write examination die in accident

Avuku (Kurnool): Three degree students who were on their way take their examinations met with a fatal accident near Singanapalli at Sanjamala mandal in Kurnool district on Wednesday. Venkataraju, Peddarayudu and Madhu hailing from Avuku were travelling to Koyilakuntla on a two wheeler to write their second year degree examinations when their vehicle collided with a speeding tractor. The tractor driver absconded from the scene of the accident.

While Venkataraju and Peddarayudu died on the spot, Madhu sustained serious injuries. He however succumbed to his injuries while he was being moved to Koyilakuntla hospital.

The local folk who witnessed the accident brought this to the notice of the Avuku police who reached the accident spot and identified the tractor. They have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
