Stop forcible land acquisition: YS Jagan

Vijayawada: YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched a dharna in front of Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) in Vijayawada to protest against the TDP government's decision to forcibly acquire the lands of the farmers in the capital area.

A large number of farmers, who lost their lands in the land pooling process, also joined the protests. Key YSRCP leaders like Marri Rajasekhar, P Gowtham Reddy, Jaleel Khan and others were present.
The farmers have been opposing the move of the Andhra Pradesh government to take away land from those who are not willing to part with. "How can we live without our sole source of income?" they asked.
The TDP government is using all the tricks at its command to foil the dharna and prevent the farmers from the capital area to join it.
