Stampede at Arasavalli temple, 3 devotees hurt

Three devotees fell unconscious when pilgrims thronged the Arasavilli Sun temple in Srikakulam district.

There was huge influx of pilgrims owing to Rathasaptami festival, during the day the rays of the Sun directly touches the feet of the Lord Suryanarayana Swamy. Huge number of pilgrims visited the temple to witness the spectacular event. Three women devotees fell down and went into the state of unconscious. The temple staff rescued them.
