Stage Set For TRS 16th Foundation Day Grand Show At Warangal

Warangal: A mammoth dais measuring 8,400-sft with a seating arrangement for 600 leaders with TRS patriarch KCR at the top is all set for Telangana Rashtra Samiti's 16th foundation day to be held this evening in Warangal.

Entitled 'Telangana Pragati Nivedana Sabha', the TRS party's grand fete is expected to be participated by nearly 20 lakh people coming from all 31 districts of the state. Leaders from various districts including Hyderabad have been leading their cadres in thousands to the meet. A sprawling ground measuring over 270 acres has been spruced up at Prakashreddypeta on Hanamkonda outskirts for the meet.

TRS president, CM KCR is scheduled to arrive at the venue at 6.40pm. Extensive arrangements have been made to make the event memorable to all the participants. As many as 6,000 police personnel have been deployed at the venue and toilets and first-aid facilities arranged.

Extensive parking facilities have been provided at nine places around the city. The entire tri-city of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet has been painted in pink with huge cutouts of KCR, party flags and arches.

After explaining people about the achievements of the state government in the last three years, the Chief Minister will stay in Warangal overnight and participate in some developmental programmes in the district on Friday.
