Michael Slater Forced Off Plane For Unwelcome Behaviour

Former Australian cricketer and current commentator Michael Slater was forced off a plane on Sunday following a heated argument with two women. According to media reports, the incident involving the former Australian opener took place at the Sydney airport in a Wagga-bound plane. Photos of Slater talking to the officials on the tarmac of the airport’s runway, went viral. Witnesses reportedly said that Slater got into a heated argument with his co-passengers, two women, and later was forced off the plane. Slater, witnesses said, also had a heated discussion with Qantas officials. He reportedly locked himself in the bathroom though the former Australian cricketer denied this.

Michael Slater is said to have been abusive with the women and later apologised for the inconvenience caused. Qantas officials are said to have confirmed the incident. Slater is on the panel of commentators for ICC World Cup 2019.
