Special Status for AP will be a reality soon, asserts YS Jagan

Nellore: YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has assured the students and the youth that special status will be a reality sooner than later and asked the students and the youth to keep fighting for the right. He has assured the huge public gathering that YSRCP will continue pressurizing the Centre on Special Status.

YS Jagan’s speech, after commencing ‘Yuvabheri’ programme here on Thursday morning, infused confidence among students and unemployed youth in the State.

While thanking youth and students for making the Yuvabheri a major success, YS Jagan said: “The agitation will continue until we get special status as it’s our right. I call upon every student and youth to fight for their right and demand implementation of all the assurances made by Chandrababu Naidu during the election campaign.”

During his interaction with students, YS Jagan cleared several doubts among youth about welfare schemes, jobs, special status benefits, etc. An unemployed person raised voice against Chandrababu Naidu’s false promise of giving unemployment stipend of Rs 2,000 every month. Answering a question from a student whether it’s possible to get special status, YS Jagan said India fought for over 100 years to get freedom from Britishers. if we have doubts about aim, no one can achieve anything. we have to fight until we get status, he said.
