Speaker Manohar adjourns AP Assembly twice

Speaker N. Manohar adjourned Andhra Pradesh assembly proceedings twice on Tuesday after his attempts to bring the House to order failed.

When the House re-assembled after one adjournment, the Speaker rejected two separate adjournment motions moved by the opposition parties.

Opposition parties surrounded the Speaker's podium demanding discussions on the issues raised by them. With they failed to pay heed to Speaker's repeated requests he adjourned the House for half an hour again.

The TRS demanded the adjournment motion for Telangana issue while the TDP holding placards demanded a steel factory in Bayyaram.
