Sorcerer Pushes Youth Into Fire To Cure Mental Ailment 

Nizamabad: A sorcerer pushed a youth into fire claiming to cure his mental ailment in Nizamabad on Wednesday. The youth sustained serious injuries and his face was totally damaged.

The parents of Aizaz residing in Nizam Colony in the town took the ailing youth to a sorcerer instead of a medical doctor. Aizaz was suffering from ill health and mental disorder for some time. His parents took him to a sorcerer who claimed to have powers to heal the man.

The sorcerer who migrated from Bihar to set up his business here some time back started a crude form of healing process on Aizaz and as a final ritual, he pushed the patient into a fire to get rid of the evil spirit that possessed him. The patient suffered serious burn injuries and his parents then shifted him to a proper hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
