Sonia Gandhi intervenes on TRS alliance

  If the grapevines are to be believed, AICC President Sonia Gandhi had intervened to push an alliance between Congress and TRS in the state.

The final list of candidates of Congress party may be released within two days. The key meeting of Congress election committee, which is to be held on Friday, has been postponed.

If the alliance between the two parties can’t be a reality, the analysts are feeling that both the parties will have to face difficult situations in the state.

On the other side, both TRS president KCR and the party cadre are not at all ready for an alliance with Congress party.

TRS has confident that they can win majority of seats in the state even without an alliance with Congress party. But, the Congress party is finding it difficult to win majority of seats without the alliance. These kind of situations forced Sonia Gandhi to intervene herself.
