Somu Veerraju Takes on Chandrababu 

Kurnool: While the BJP top brass is making efforts to save the alliance with the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh, senior BJP leader and MLC Somu Veerraju made some sensational remarks against the TDP and its leaders here today.

During a booth-level meeting with the party cadre in Kurnool town, Veerraju levelled corruption charges against TDP leaders in the state. Making indirect criticism against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Veerraju said he was running the party after having put to rest the great leader.

"I don't have any personal agenda, my only intention is to strengthen the party from grass-root level in the state. Following the instructions made by the party chief, we are fighting against the corruption that is dominating the state. Some greedy politicians in the state are pocketing the funds that have been released by the Centre on various development and welfare schemes," he mentioned.
