Soldier attempts rape on moving train

An armyman has been taken into custody for allegedly trying to rape a 12 year old girl on moving train on Friday.

The incident happened in the Bokaro Express which was travelling from Alleppey to Dhanbad.  The Army jawan's attempt to rape her was a step in the wrong direction. On hearing her screams from the adjoining compartment, passengers rushed to rescue her. The girl was travelling from Chennai to Tadepalli Gudem.
The jawan has been taken into custody and the police has registered a case of attempt to rape. Police did not disclose the jawan's identity
