Social Welfare officer caught while taking bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today trapped a Social Welfare Officer in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh while allegedly accepting Rs 15,000 as bribe.

R Prabhakar was caught red-handed at his office by ACB when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 15,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour of processing a file related to his promotion, according to a ACB release here. The case is under investigation.
