Snapchat Gift To IPL Fans in 2018

Popular social media platform Snapchat has announced promotional partnership with four IPL 2018 teams. Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians will feature in the official stories of Snapchat, in the Discover section.

In addition to official stories, Snapchat has rolled out several new creative tools that allow fans of different IPL teams to support their respective favourite teams. Fans can use the special stickers, filters and lenses in their stories. The Snapchat lenses create an emoji, wherin the user can be seen in an IPL team helmet while a team anthem is played in the background. These lenses are region-specific. For example, fans in Telangana automatically get the Sunrisers Hyderabad lens.

Ben Schwerin, Vice President of Partnerships, Snapchat, announced the latest partnership in a statement, "We are so excited for Snapchatters to be able to catch behind the scenes action by their favourite players, cheers teams, and share in the IPL 2018 frenzy with their friends and family!"
