Sketch Tamil Movie Collections on Day 1
When you cast actors like Chiyaan Vikram and Tamannaah you can sure expect fireworks at the box office we mean not just onscreen. Both have the mythical Midas touch when it comes to keeping the cash registers ringing at the box office. The movie, Sketch released yesterday to cash in on the Pongal fest. The film is vying with two other films - Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam and Prabhu Deva’s Gulaebaghavali. Expectations are that it will hold its own against these releases.
The movie has minted Rs 6 Cr on the first day of its opening, while his last film Iru Mugan raked in Rs 5 Cr on day 1. Trade analysts predict that Suriya's TSK and Prabhu Deva's Gulaebaghavali is giving a hard time at the ticket window for Sketch and thus will have a slow upward climb.
