Six TDP leaders vie for cabinet berths from Anantapur!

Six leaders from Anantapur district are seeking the berths in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet.

Their efforts have become  a source of headache for Chandrababu Naidu, who is going to take oath as the chief minister on June 8.

Five MLAs and a senior leader in the district are seeking the cabinet berths from the district this time. They have already started their lobbying for the same.

All the six leaders exude confidence that they would surely get an entry into the cabinet considering their seniority and caste equations.

Raptadu MLA Paritala Sunitha is likely to be inducted into the cabinet.  But, if film hero and Hindupur MLA Balakrishna asks the post, he will not just get, but would also deprive Sunitha, who belongs to the same community.

Senior leader Payyavula Kesav, who unsuccessfully contested from Uravakonda in the recent elections, is also seeking the cabinet berth and wants Chandrababu to make him an MLC. All the three leaders belong to the same community and so only one of them will have a chance of entering the cabinet.

Other legislators Kalva Srinivasulu and B.K.Partha Saradhi are seeking the posts under BC quota. The party president has a tough task here as both are senior leaders of the party.

Puttaparthi MLA Palle Raghunatha Reddy met Chandrababu to request him the ministerial berth.

We have to wait and see who will get an entry into the cabinet finally.
