SI Shoots Self: Kukunoorpally PS witnesses two Police Deaths in A Year

Siddipet: In a shocking incident, a sub-inspector of police ended his life by shooting himself with a revolver. The incident occurred in Kukunoorpally police station in Siddipet district. The SI has been identified as Prabhakar Reddy, a native of Tangutur village in Aler mandal of Yadadri district.

Last year, SI Ramakrishna Reddy of the same police station ended his life in the same manner. Ramakrishna Reddy had just completed his training and was posted to Kukunoorpally. The earlier incident created quite a sensation and sparked outrage among the police personnel. He had left a suicide note alleging that he was being harrassed by the senior police officials over mamools.

Prabhakar Reddy replaced SI Ramakrishna Reddy in the Kukunoorpally police station. Ironically, Prabhakar Reddy committed suicide in the same room in which Ramakrishna Reddy ended his life last year.
