The case of short film director Yogi and software engineer Haarika took a new turn what with Yogi, accused of harassing Haarika, releasing screenshots of the SMS messages that Haarika sent him. In retaliation, Haarika too released a selfie video asking people to support her. She asked every woman to fight back.

The screen shots showed how Haarika was trying to entice boys and also telling what is the use of morals if they do not give one happiness. The screen shots also showed Haarika trying to be pally with the director. These SMSs, Yogi alleged, show that contrary to the allegations that she was harassed by him, it was Haarika who was actually trying to get closer to him.

It may be recalled that Haarika accused Mutyala Yogi Kumar, director of short films, of harassing her. She filed a complaint on December 20. She and Yogi were brought to Gachibowli women's police station, where additional DCP Gangi Reddy kicked him. Video of Gangi Reddy kicking him went viral, forcing the higher officials to suspend the cop. Yogi says that it was Haarika, who filmed Gangi Reddy's kicking Yogi.

Yogi’s SMS messages came to the fore moments before he was to surrender to the police along with his advocates. The police are investigating from all angles.
