Shootout at Gulbarga, SI succumbs to injuries

Hyderabad, In a tragic incident Sub Inspector Malikajuna Bande, who was shot by rowdy sheeter Munna, died in Yashoda hospital in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to reports, earlier this month,  in an encounter between Police and Munna in Gulbarga, Munna allegedly opened fire, and in the melee, the SI was shot in the head. 

He was moved from Gulbarga to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries. As per reports, his wife had requested the government to employ foreign doctors for better treatment.
