Shocker for Pawan Kalyan

Here is a shocker for actor-absentee politico Pawan Kalyan.

While he was away for treatment, the Election Commission of India released the latest list of new political parties and Jana Sena Party does not find a place.
JSP, floated amid much hype and hoopla by Pawan Kalyan did not contest the elections and does not even have a formal organisational structure. With no activity palpable, the EC decided against including JSP in its list.
According to the EC, the total number of political parties registered this year rose from 1,593 to 1.699. Just in a span of four months, as many as 100 new parties were floated. In the newly registered list, UP topped the list with 31 new parties, while in Haryana, Maharastra and Andhra Pradesh have 14, 13 and 9 parties respectively.
The EC has accorded recognition to the YSRCP as a state party in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The EC said the recognition was granted following the party’s performance in the recently-concluded General and assembly elections in the two states.
