SHE Team’s Fearless Run At Midnight In Charminar

Hyderabad: The SHE team of the Hyderabad police and United Sisters Foundation organised "Fearless Run", a midnight marathon from the historic Charminar on Sunday night.

The event was flagged off by Swati Lakra, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes and SHE Teams) and actor Milind Soman. Speaking on the occasion, Swati Lakra said that the SHE teams are playing a major role to eradicate eve teasing and other women related crimes in the city. The confidence levels have increased in women after the launch of SHE teams, she said. The Hyderabad police have organised several events in the run up to the International Women’s day which falls on March 8. As part of the event, the city police held 10K, 5K and 2K run on Sunday. The Fearless Run was part of those series of events.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South zone) V Satyanarayana, senior police officials, NGOs and students participated in the midnight run.
