'Maro Praja Prasthanam' padayatra that led YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister, Sharmila to protest against the government's anti-people policies and TDP's conspiracy, will complete 3,000 kms on Monday.

Speaking to media, YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said that a ‘Maha Mugimpu Sabha’ (Big conclusion meeting) will be held on August 4 at Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district.

The arduous padayatra will come to an end with a massive public meeting in Ichchapuram. The YSRCP leader began her padayatra from Idupulapaya, the heart of Rayalaseema region in YSR district on October 18, 2012

Sharmila padayatra has accomplished a feat unimaginable by any woman. "No other woman in the world has achieved what Sharmila did," Mekapati told reporters in Hyderabad.

He appealed to the the people from across the state to attend the conclusion meeting in large numbers.

Speaking on the Congress attitude towards the Telangana issue, Mekapati said that public are worried that the Centre would divide the state into peices and thus create havoc. "They are playing with the lives of the people and continuing in offices by creating havoc," the YSRCP MP added.

He accused the government of making a mockery of the democracy. He assured that no one would get injustice in the YSRCP.
