Sharmila braves rain in Vizianagaram

Seemandhra (Coastal and Andhra districts) will become a desert if the state is divided as only sea water will be available for the entire region from Srikakulam to Kuppam, YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister Sharmila said while addressing a mammoth gathering as part of her 'Samaikya Shankaravam' bus yatra in Vizianagaram district on Sunday.

Despite heavy rain, a large number of party activists and people attended the public meeting organised at Saluru.

"What will the people of Seemandhra do if there was no water in their region and how the Polavaram project would be filled," Sharmila asked, adding that the ruling party was trying to divide the State with selfish political agenda.
