Seven arrested for possessing 76 kg ganja in Rajahmundry

Seven persons were arrested for allegedly possessing 76 kg of ganja in East Godavari district, police said today.

The arrests were made yesterday following a tip-off that some persons were illegally transporting the prohibited drug from Visakhapatnam on motorcycles, police said. A search was launched at Kummari Lova in Tuni mandal and the accused were caught, the police said. Further investigation is on.
