Senior TDP leader forced to vote for Congress

Telugu Desam Party leader and former minister, Kodela Sivaprasad Rao on Sunday, had to vote for his opposition.

Kodela went to his polling center, Narasaraopeta, 29th ward, to cast his vote. But he didn't find any TDP candidates, only YSRCP and Congress contestants were there.  BJP leader Rachakonda Prasad with the support of TDP filed the nominations. But due to some reason, the Election officials rejected his nomination.

Kodela was not aware of this development, when he arrived at the centre along with his son for voting. Being a political leader it is must for him to cast his vote, and he had to choose one from his opposition parties.

As per reports, realising that YSRCP could be a major threat to TDP, Kodela opted to vote for Congress.
