Senior Journalist V Hanumantha Rao Passes Away

Senior journalist and author V Hanumantha Rao, who is popularly known as DNF Hanumantha Rao, passed away on Tuesday morning. He is 91. The end came at his Nagarjuna Nagar home in Srinagar Colony.

Hanumantha Rao has been associated with media for over 65 years and had worked in organisations like Krishna Patrika, Eenadu and Economic Times. For over three decades, he has been running the media Agency Data New Featurs (DNF). As a journalist who trained scores of jouralists, he was one of the most respected figures in the field of journalism. His year books too have been quite popular. His son is also a media professional.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed condolence at the demise of the doyen of journalism. He called Hanumantha Rao a role model for journalists. He termed Rao''s death a great loss. YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy too condoled the death of DNF Hanumantha Rao.
