Senior Actor Passes Away 

Bollywood actor Sitaram Panchal, who has worked in movies like Peepli Live, Jolly LLB 2 and Paan Singh Tomar, passed away on Wednesday after he lost the battle against cancer.

The actor was suffering from kidney and lung cancer since 2014. Unable to make ends meet and to support his treatment, he had recently posted about his plight and sought help from co-actors. Haryana Government and the film artistes association have chipped in with financial help. The Haryana Government had given him Rs 5 lakh. But, the end came on Wednesday.

Panchal debuted in 1994 with Bandit Queen and worked with actors like Irfan Khan and Akshay Kumar.
