Section 8 is being raked up to dilute TDP crimes: KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR met Governor ESL Narasimham on Tuesday in the wake of recent political developments.

The news of Attorney General advising the Governor to invoke Section 8 has apparently displeased KCR. He has reportedly told his acolytes that the could even go on fast if the Section 8 is invoked.KCR explained to the Governor on the progress in the cash for vote scandal and even stressed that ACB has all required proofs to nail Chandrababu Naidu. He also mentioned that Government is not interfering in ACB's work and that the ACB is working as an independent body. KCR seems to have also had a word on Section 8. As all power to invoke Section 8 lie with Governor, KCR seems to have argued with the Governor that there is no need of Section 8.
"TDP is raking up Section 8 to dilute their crimes and divert the issue" KCR reportedly said. As the audio tapes of Babu saw light, TDP all of sudden brought Section 8 into picture. KCR said that there are no settlers in Hyderabad and all Hyderabad residents are Hyderabadis. "As Chandrababu is not able to face the charges, he is provoking people against stable T government," added KCR.
