Second year engineering student attempts suicide

A second-year engineering student on Wednesday allegedly attempted to commit suicide by jumping from her college building at Guntapalli of Hayathnagar mandal.

According to reports, Sandhya, from Korutla of Karimnagar is pursuing Engineering from Avanthi Engineering College.

According to reports, she jumped from the the top of a three-storied building. The college management rushed Sandhya who suffered serious injuries to a nearby hospital. 

The reason behind her suicide attempt is yet to be ascertained, but parents of  Sandhya suspect financial problems as the reason.
