SC sends notice to state HC on setting up T Bar Council

Supreme Court accepted the petition seeking the formation of Telangana's Bar Council on Friday.

Supreme Court sent notices  to the combined High Court of A.P. and T.S. in Hyderabad, Bar council of India and Union Government. Telangana lawyers' names are being enrolled in A.P.Bar council which is in contravention to the provisions of the A.P. reorganization bill. Claiming the same, S.Prabhakar , a resident of Hyderabad, approached to the state High Court and requested for the formation of New Bar Council for Telangana in August in 2014.
