Santoshi Relatives Allege Step-Brother Raped And Murdered Her

Siddipet: Following the mysterious death of degree student Santoshi, Siddipet Police Commissioner P. Sivakumar assured that the probe into the murder case would be completed at the earliest in an unbiased manner. He said that the investigation is going on under the supervision of Siddipet ACP Narsimha Reddy.

It may be recalled that Santoshi was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her adopted parents' residence in Siddipet town last week. Her adopted parents Padma and father Ravishankara Sharma handed over the body to victim's relatives.

Santoshi was adopted by the couple at a very a young age. She was studying degree in a private college.

After finding scars on the victim's face and private parts, relatives had alleged that the couple's son, Sharath, who is studying B.Tech, had raped Santoshi and murdered her.

So far, 16 persons were questioned by the police in the case including the adopted parents and son Sharath. Commissioner Sivakumar told the media persons that there were no scars found on victim's body. The postmortem was carried out under the supervision of doctors in a transparent manner, he said. The postmortem was also video recorded for evidence.
