Sanjana Denies Being Shot Nude In The Leaked Viral Video

Hyderabad: Kannada actress Sanjanna Galrani, who is in news for the past two days over her alleged nude video leaked online from ‘Dandupalya 2' has expressed shock over all the buzz that's going on. The actress clarified that she did shoot for the scene but wasn't nude.

"I shot for it, but I was not nude. I have pictures that show my body parts covered with a towel that were clicked in my caravan. What is eventually seen in the film is the result of computer color grading, which was made to show the scene in that fashion," she said.

The actress says that she was aware of the scene. In the film she plays Chandri, a victim of sexual abuse, and the scene she shot for was physically abused by the jail officials. "I expected that to be shot aesthetically, but the picturization is downright vulgar. The fault is in the making and it might have been done keeping mass audience in mind," she said.

The actress also gave an official statement on her Twitter handle posting that even it would have been a James Bond film, she will not shoot 100 percent nude. She said that her team is there to remove all the links related with that leaked clip. She adds that the scene was not part of the film so the leakage is restricted to the film team.

Sanajana said the investigation is underway to track down from where was it leaked and who circulated in WhatsApp. "My family is in a state of panic, but they are, of course, being supportive and standing by me," she said.

The director of the film Srinivasa Raju is yet to comment on the issue. This is not first time Sanjana made news. Reportedly the actress backed out of the promotions as her co-actress Pooja Gandhi was given attention in the final cut.
