Salman Khan's conviction on Thursday in the 20-year-old blackbuck poaching case and being awarded jail for five years upset several of his colleagues in the industry. However, Salman Khan's Jail Sentence Has Made One Person Happy. It's none other than former Big Boss contestant Sofia Hayat who has welcomed the verdict. She took to Instagram to share a lengthy post about the reality show host. It reads," Guilty, No More Human". The post has been liked by over 3K people and the users who backed Sofia called it a bold move.

He has then reinvented himself as a charitable man to try and compensate his karma. Today, India has shown that no matter who you are, if you break the law, you are no bigger than the law. I have heard so many young people in India speak about how they are afraid to go to the police about crimes committed by others because they watch the tv and see how people with money and status get away with it because they have paid off the police or the judge or the lawyers. This happened to me when Armaan Kohli paid off 2 of my lawyers so that I could not continue with the case, Dolly Bindra also told me that Armaans family are powerful enough to put drugs in my bag at the airport and I would be in Jail. I had to then drop the case as all the lawyers I hired were paid off. Today, Hindustan can stand strong and hold its head up high to the world and show them that justice is held up in India, and today, all the poor people have been shown a glimmer of hope in their own fight for justice against those who have manipulated the law. Meanwhile, on Friday Salman Khan's bail plea got postponed for today as the sessions court has asked for the entire records from the lower court in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

Subsequently, the Qaidi No. 106 had to spend another night in jail. Salman was found guilty in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case Jodhpur court and apart from the jail sentence, he was fined Rs 10,000. The judge who pronounced the verdict said that Salman was a star who had several followers who idolise him and so he must set a good example for them to emulate. However, Salman's co-stars and co-accused in the case—Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were, however, let off for lack of evidence.
