Salesgirl Rape Case: Accused, Friends Arrested 

Hyderabad: Three persons were arrested by Hayathnagar police on Tuesday in connection with the rape of a 20-year-old salesgirl in a moving car on Diwali night.

The accused are Madhagoni Prasad(24), Siddagoni Shiva Kumar(25), and Parigi Mallesh(25). The trio has been sent to judicial remand after being produced before a city court.

The police said that the accused waited for the victim to reach the deserted street to attack her and Prasad who was sitting in a rear seat of the car then dragged her into the car and raped her in the moving car

Hayathnagar inspector J. Narender Goud said that Prasad has seen the victim couple of times at the supermarket when he went to visit his friend who also works there. He then planned to get intimate with her and chalked out a plan with his friends on Diwali night.

The police said that the accused waited for the victim to reach the deserted street to attack her and Prasad who was sitting in a rear seat of the car then dragged her into the car and raped her in the moving car.

The incident was spotted by a local who then alerted others. Later, they intercepted the vehicle and roughed up the trio who managed to flee leaving behind the Indica car (AP29UDTR0325). They were nabbed at a house where they were hiding ever since.
