Sakshi barred from Mahanadu

TDP once again proved its insecurity by putting a ban on Sakshi Media to cover TDP's annual conclave 'Mahanadu'.

Telugu Desam Party and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu passes order not to allow Sakshi media to party's annual conclave. TDP from the past two years is not allowing Sakshi media to any of its meeting or press meets. After Chandrababu Naidu took over as CM of Andhra Pradesh , he barred the Sakshi Media group to official and government programs and press-meets as well. Taking action over prohibiting Sakshi to government meets, Press council of India issued notices forcing government to allow sakshi since then.
Even though Sakshi was allowed to government press meets, It is still being barred from TDP party meets and events. While, the government should never take partial steps towards a particular Media group, in the terms to harm democracy TDP is purposely prohibiting Sakshi media. According section 29A , every political party should abide by law and allow every media group to its event. But, in view of personal image issues, stopping a leading daily and channel from party's events is being criticized.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu gave strict orders to 'Mahanadu' organizing committee that Sakshi media personnel's should not be given entry passes. The annual conclave of TDP founded by Nandamuri Tarakarama Rao in 1982 is celebrated every year since then
