Sai Dharam Tej's security guard arrested for raping minor

Hyderabad: Tollywood actor, Sai Dharam Tej's security guard Dubasi Nagender has allegedly raped a class III student on Thursday.

The incident happened when the victim along with few others was playing outside Nagender’s rented house. Dubasi Nagender(23) who hails from Medak district, has lured the girl with chocolates and then raped her. It came into light when the girl came out crying and her aunt enquired about it.

He joined as Sai Dharam Tej's security guard 10 days ago and has been residing at Indiranagar in Banjara Hills.

“Nagender lured her with a chocolate. He took her home and raped her,” said Banjara Hills inspector Murali Krishna.

Sources said, “The guard joined only 10 days ago. The security agency said that they had done a background check of the candidate before appointing him and we are not aware of his character and activities."

The accused was arrested and sent to remand. A case was booked under Section 376 of IPC and sections of the POCSO Act.
